These terms apply to hosted business voice and VoIP services provided or managed by Technology Mechanics. The applicable quote or order identifies users, numbers, devices, features, recurring charges and any installation or porting fees.

Service Requirements

Hosted VoIP depends on working Internet access, local network connectivity, electrical power, compatible equipment and upstream carrier services. Call quality and availability can be affected by conditions outside Technology Mechanics' control.

911 and Emergency Calling

VoIP emergency calling can differ from traditional telephone service. 911 or E911 may be limited or unavailable during a power failure, Internet outage, network disruption, device relocation, use of a number away from its registered location or delay in updating a dispatchable location. The customer must provide and keep current the physical service location for each number or device where required and must ensure users understand these limitations.

E911 limitations are disclosed as part of the service contract and are affirmatively acknowledged electronically during provisioning. The acknowledgement is retained with the customer account in the service portal as part of the provisioning record, and the underlying voice-service provider may retain related records as required for service administration and regulatory compliance.

The customer should maintain an alternative means of contacting emergency services during an outage.

Numbers and Porting

Number porting depends on accurate authorization, the losing carrier and applicable carrier or regulatory processes. Technology Mechanics will coordinate approved ports but cannot guarantee a specific completion date until the carrier confirms it. Customers should not cancel existing service until a port is complete unless instructed to do so.

Billing and Cancellation

Charges and terms are provided in the quote or order. We will honor an authorized cancellation in accordance with the applicable service terms and will not intentionally continue recurring billing after the effective cancellation date, except for valid final charges, usage, equipment, taxes, fees or other amounts already incurred.

Toll Fraud and Account Security

The customer is responsible for protecting extensions, passwords, voicemail PINs, administrative accounts, devices and network access. Charges caused by compromised customer credentials or devices may remain the customer's responsibility unless a signed agreement states otherwise.

Call Recording and Messaging

If the customer enables call recording, transcription, SMS or similar features, the customer is responsible for notices, consent and use required by applicable law.

Customer Information and CPNI

Voice-service information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and telecommunications requirements and our Privacy Policy. Technology Mechanics and its underlying providers may use customer information as permitted to provide, secure and support the service.

Third-Party Carrier

Voice services may rely on one or more underlying carriers or platform providers. Carrier rules, number-assignment requirements, taxes, regulatory fees and service limitations may apply.

Governing Law

Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by Nevada law, with venue in Clark County, Nevada, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
