Technology Mechanics may assist customers with registering, renewing, transferring and managing Internet domain names. Technology Mechanics currently uses HostGator as its upstream domain-service provider and may act as a reseller or administrative service provider rather than the ICANN-accredited registrar of record.

Registrar and Registry Terms

Domain registrations are subject to the applicable registrar, registry operator and ICANN policies, including the HostGator Domain Registration Agreement where HostGator is used for the registration. The registrar of record may vary by domain or top-level domain. Those third-party terms control registration eligibility, transfers, disputes, renewal, expiration and restoration.

Registrant Information

The customer must provide accurate registrant and contact information and promptly update it when it changes. The customer is responsible for responding to registrar verification requests and maintaining a working administrative email address.

Ownership and Control

Where practical, the customer should be identified as the registered name holder or otherwise have documented rights to the domain. Technology Mechanics may be listed as a technical or administrative contact when authorized to manage the domain.

Renewal and Expiration

Domain renewal is subject to timely payment, current contact information and registrar availability. Automatic renewal may be used when configured but is not a guarantee against expiration if payment fails, the registrar rejects renewal or the domain is subject to a dispute, hold or registry restriction.

Transfers

Transfers may be subject to registrar, registry and ICANN verification procedures and transfer locks. Technology Mechanics will reasonably assist with authorized transfers in accordance with the applicable registrar, registry and ICANN requirements.

Disputes and Third-Party Rights

The customer is responsible for selecting and using a domain name lawfully and for addressing trademark, UDRP, URS, court or registry disputes concerning the name.

Fees

Registration, renewal, redemption, privacy/proxy and transfer fees are determined by the applicable order and may change when registrar or registry pricing changes.
