Technology Mechanics protects customer information and responds to governmental and civil legal demands in accordance with applicable law.
Service of Legal Process
Legal demands should identify the requesting authority, the specific customer or account, the information sought, the relevant time period and the legal authority supporting the request. Formal legal process must be served through a method authorized by applicable law. A courtesy copy may be sent to info@techmechlv.com, but email alone does not constitute acceptance of service unless we expressly agree.
Scope and Validity
We review legal demands for facial validity, appropriate jurisdiction and reasonable specificity. We may object to, seek clarification of or challenge demands that are overbroad, technically infeasible, unlawful or inconsistent with applicable protections for stored communications and customer records.
Customer Notice
Where legally permitted and appropriate, we may notify the affected customer before disclosure so the customer has an opportunity to seek protection. We will not provide notice where prohibited by law, court order or a valid nondisclosure requirement, or where an emergency or other lawful exception applies.
Preservation Requests
We may preserve information in response to a valid preservation request or as reasonably necessary to comply with law. Preservation does not by itself authorize disclosure.
Emergency Requests
Requests involving an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury should clearly describe the emergency and the information requested. We may make disclosures where authorized by applicable emergency provisions of law.
Costs
Where permitted by law, we may seek reimbursement of reasonable costs associated with responding to legal process.
