These terms apply when Technology Mechanics remotely accesses a customer computer, server, network device, cloud system or other technology resource. A signed client agreement or service order controls if it provides different terms.

Authorization

By requesting or permitting Remote Assistance, the customer authorizes Technology Mechanics to connect to the identified system and perform the approved troubleshooting, administration or support work. The person requesting service represents that they are authorized to grant access.

Remote Tools and Access

Remote work may use secure remote-access, monitoring or administrative tools appropriate to the service. Depending on the support relationship, access may be attended by the user or may occur unattended under previously granted authorization. Remote sessions and administrative activity may be logged for security and support records.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, licensing and authorization for the systems being serviced, and for identifying any system or data that requires special handling. Do not send passwords or authentication codes through public website forms.

Reasonable Care

Technology Mechanics will use commercially reasonable care when performing authorized work. Remote troubleshooting may require software changes, configuration changes, reboots or other actions that can affect system availability. We will coordinate material changes when practical.

Security Incidents

If an active security incident is suspected, we may limit access, isolate systems or recommend other containment actions when authorized and reasonably necessary to reduce further harm.

Limitations

Remote Assistance cannot resolve every issue. Hardware failures, cabling, physical damage and certain network or environmental problems may require onsite work or a local third-party resource.

Governing Law

Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by Nevada law, with venue in Clark County, Nevada, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
