Remote Access Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Technology Mechanics (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides remote monitoring and management (RMM) services using Atera RMM and Splashtop RMM to deliver remote assistance to our clients (“you,” “your”). By using our remote access services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Authorization and Access

2.1 You authorize Technology Mechanics to remotely access and control your systems and devices for the purpose of providing support and maintenance.
2.2 Remote access will only be initiated with your prior consent, except in cases of emergency where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or data loss.

3. Security and Confidentiality

3.1 We use secure protocols and encryption to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data during remote sessions.
3.2 All remote access activities are logged and monitored to ensure compliance with security standards.
3.3 We will not disclose any confidential information obtained during remote sessions to third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.

4. Responsibilities and Obligations

4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that your systems and devices meet the minimum requirements for remote access and that all necessary permissions are granted.
4.2 You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach related to our remote services.
4.3 We are not responsible for any issues or damages arising from your failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

5. Limitations of Liability

5.1 Technology Mechanics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our remote access services.
5.2 Our total liability to you for any claims arising from remote access services will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

6. Service Availability and Interruptions

6.1 While we strive to provide continuous and uninterrupted remote access services, we do not always guarantee availability. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary interruptions.
6.2 We will provide advance notice of any scheduled maintenance that may affect service availability.

7. Termination of Services

7.1 Either party may terminate remote access services by providing written notice. Termination will be effective immediately upon receipt of such notice.
7.2 Upon termination, we will cease all remote access activities and ensure that any data or credentials used during remote sessions are securely deleted.

8. Amendments

8.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing, and continued use of our remote access services will constitute acceptance of the amended terms.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Nevada.
